Summer 2026 Schedule

The following is the schedule for the Summer 2026 ROSE Program, which will run from Monday, June 8 through Friday, July 10, 2026.

Sun. June 7 – Redondo Village Apartments check-in (2:00-4:00 PM)

Mon. June 8 – Welcome, introductions, program kickoff, and Safety Training I; Physics and Interdisciplinary Science Building (PAÍS), 2120, 8:00 AM–1:30 PM. Includes light breakfast and lunch; wear comfortable shoes for walking.

1:30-3:00 PM -- LoboCards, keys, and campus tour

3:00-4:00 PM -- meet with PI mentor; lab orientation.

Wed. June 10th – Welcome reception (TBA)

TBA – TODOS & ROSE reception

Weekly Activities for Scholars and PIs:

Coffee@Chemistry – Tuesdays 10-11 AM, Clark Hall 105 (coffee + light breakfast)

Group lunch – Fridays 11:30 AM–12:45 PM, location Clark Hall 201

Panel and group discussions; lab tours– Fridays 1:00 PM–3:00 PM

June 12 – (Mentor Lab Tours)

June 19 – (Activity: TBA)

June 26 – (Activity: TBA)

Thur. July 2 - (Lunch & Activity: TBA)

Fri. July 10 – Farewell lunch for Scholars and PIs, 12:00–1:00 PM; research poster session, 1:00–3:00 PM; convocation and presentations with ROSE co-directors and distinguished guests, 3:00 PM, Science and Math Learning Center atrium, UNM.
